The emulator lets you develop and test Kindle Fire applications without using a physical device. The AVD Launcher provides a user interface in which you can create and manage Android Virtual Devices, to help simplify the process of creating and launching emulators.

Comparisons
They Compare Kindle Fire HD with Nexus7 as well as Ipad mini but as considering the whole specification of three of the the I-pad and Nexus is as we know the leading and popular but if we consider price with the specification of Kindle Fire OS with the other two so we can just accept that its on competition with these reputation products but only in this tablet series,if they are physible on other areas i think Amazon can have a competition with the other leading, but if we consider the hardware section i think they have to improve a lot because the total efficiecny of the machine is based on this hardware section first i.e:processor core ,ram, rom, camera and other needs.
